A magnificent gem in the karoo. Everything lovingly put together and restored to give an overall rustic,classy weekend experience. The owners have done wonders with the buildings that they have.

Noteworthy details: Despite the solitude of the place, they gave not neglected Internet access and we had 8meg connection at the main house and Internet at the party venue. Often times these sort of place do not have Internet access but Dwarsvlei is very different.

Absolutely beautiful farmhouse filled with old charm. Loved the history and the feeling of going back in time. I stayed for one night and felt completely at home. Huge rooms, freshly picked flowers, comfy beds, and the biggest shower! Loved my stayed and would love to return for a few days to explore the farm and surroundings.
